Self Care Workshop

  • Psychosynthesis Trust 92-94 Tooley Street London, England, SE1 2TH United Kingdom (map)

This workshop explores positive ways to revitalise life at work, build resilience and begin to create a more supportive working environment where self-care is prioritised.

Working with Performing Medicine's Associate Artist, participants will explore a range of exercises to look after themselves and each other, helping them to cope well with the physical demands of work, including relaxation techniques to help prepare for, respond to, and wind down from busy and stressful schedules.

Participants will learn how to restore energy, identify and release tension and therefore allow their bodies to perform at their best, building stamina and resilience to cope with long hours. Focusing on non-verbal communication, participants will build physical awareness and an understanding of the impact of their own physicality, including the ways that they move and touch.

This workshop is for anyone interested in improving their self-care.

This session is hosted by Performing Medicine. Performing Medicine is a Clod Ensemble initiative that provides creative training programmes for healthcare professionals and students. Find out more at www.performingmedicine.com
