Help Us Decarbonise London Bridge: Sign Up Now
Team London Bridge has been working with Useful Projects and xtonnes to develop a Decarbonisation Route map for the area. Thanks to the input of local businesses, we now know the total carbon generated in London Bridge and can move forward with plans to reduce these emissions.
Since launching the process in January, we’ve been amazed to see the level of passion, knowledge and expertise going into making businesses across London Bridge sustainable. Over 40 businesses have entered data using the xtonnes software to view their London Bridge footprint, and we’ve spoke to many of you separately to dig deeper beyond the data.
What’s next? Join the decarbonising community!
Please join one of our Business Workshops to help develop our Routemap further. We need to respond to our businesses’ needs to be a success, so your input is invaluable. The greater the number of businesses that take part also increases our mandate to deliver. This workshop is particularly relevant if you have a role in sustainability in your workplace, have ideas about making a sustainable neighbourhood, or just want to find out how your business can get more involved.
We are holding two sessions in person and online:
4th May, 4PM - 5:30PM - in person at our brand new London Bridge Hive (8 Holyrood Street, SE1 2EL), followed by drinks and networking.
5th May, 4PM - 5:15PM - online
During these sessions, Useful Projects will present the area’s carbon footprint (based on the input from many local businesses), share key insights, and propose interventions for our routemap. There will be an interactive workshop to gather your thoughts and ideas on potential projects for the area and to get your feedback on proposed plans.
The sessions are open to any of the businesses or landlords within the London Bridge BID area. This will be a great opportunity to learn about and feed into Team London Bridge’s decarbonisation plans for the area, and for you to meet fellow organisations.
If you are interested in attending, you can book here or contact jack@teamlondonbridge.co.uk if you have any further questions about the process.
