Volunteers from local businesses dig in to transform Snowfields Primary School garden

Responding to our call out for volunteers, employees from London Bridge businesses including Alex Monroe, Venn Group, MACE, AXS and Grainger PLC did a fantastic job of helping St Mungo's Putting Down Roots team transform Snowsfields Primary School's garden for the spring.

The green-fingered team got to work alongside our long standing partners St Mungo’s Putting Down Roots - a horticultural programme that supports the homeless and those at risk of homelessness - tidying, digging and building new raised planting beds from scratch.

Snowsfields Co-Head Zohra Benotmane and Teacher Adam Finch were delighted with the results:

“We would like to sincerely thank the generous volunteers from AXS, Venn Group, Grainger, Alex Monroe, Mace and St Mungo’s who worked incredibly hard to help us renovate our garden. This space is a rare and valuable resource in the centre of London and the work carried out by the volunteers will allow the children to utilise this space to learn and play while also supporting the biodiversity in the local area.”

Team London Bridge has been creating and managing green spaces across London Bridge for over a decade, as part of our ambition to make the area a great place to work, live and visit, and we couldn’t do this without the help of our business community.
