Team London Bridge awarded GOLD and BID Category Winners at London in Bloom Awards

Team London Bridge is delighted to be awarded GOLD standard and BID Category winners for the second year running at the London in Bloom awards!

Back in July, London in Bloom judges braved the rain to explore London Bridge, where our partners and contractors were at the ready to showcase the area’s treasured green spaces, including Gibbon’s Rent Secret Garden, Potters Fields Park, the Orchard Lisle Living Wall and Holyrood Street Kiosk. New highlights on this year’s trail included the revamped Queen Elizabeth Gardens and over 2,000 new plants transforming Druid Street.

As always, sustainability and the health and wellbeing of our community remain central to our horticultural efforts. In addition to considering factors like biodiversity and air quality during the design phase, we opt for cargo bike transport over motorised deliveries and reduce waste by using reclaimed plants and materials.

We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the judging day, and especially those who work tirelessly with us year-round to maintain these beautiful spaces, including volunteers from local businesses and the surrounding community. A special thanks goes to Darryl Moore, Cityscapes, Potters Fields Park Management Trust, Southwark Council, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, King's College London, London Bridge City, Oriana Catino and Scotscape.

We’d also like to congratulate our fellow BIDs who took part in the competition, joining us in making London a greener place for everyone to enjoy.
